  • Exceeds 44,000kg
  • Has an axle load of more than 10,000kg for a single non-driving axle and 11,500kg for a single driving axle
  • Is more than 2.9m wide
  • Has a rigid length of more than 18.65m

Please give us a few weeks' notice when you need your abnormal load haulage to take place (preferably 6 weeks depending on the size of the load), providing us with as much detail as possible. 

We also recommend notifying the police, highway authorities and bridge and structure owners like network rail.  Please visit the .gov website and register with ESDAL, where you will be able to notify the required authorities.
