Here at Jeff Jones in Mid Devon we have been supplying and transporting high-quality hay, straw and bedding for many agricultural clients across the UK for over 20 years.
Transport
Bales of all sizes delivered to your premises
As proud members of the British Hay & Straw Merchants Association, we supply the whole of the UK with fresh hay, straw and bedding. We also have a reliable fleet of vehicles, ready to transport it, exactly when you need it, safely and securely. Our hay and straw is available in a range of bale sizes, tailored to your convenience. These include:
- Heston - 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.5m (500kg - 550kg each)
- 3/4 Heston - 1.2 x 0.9 x 2.5m (400kg - 500kg each)
- Quadrant - 1.2 x 0.7 x 2.5m (250kg - 350kg each)
- Mini Heston 4750 or D1010 - 0.8 x 0.9 x 2.5m (240kg - 290kg each)
- Conventional bales - 0.35 x 0.75 x 0.95m (18kg - 20kg each)
If you require our smaller bales, and if it is more convenient for you, you are welcome to pick up the bales in your own vehicle.
First-class bedding for all animals
Our woodshaving delivery services is ideal in providing a comfy, warm bed that is moisture absorbent and are very easy to clean up. When the bedding is laid, the smaller flakes fall to the bottom, leaving the larger flakes on top to optimise moisture absorbency.
We supply a wide range of quality horse bedding shavings including:
- Soft small flake white wood shavings that are virtually dust free, that has great elasticity and excellent optimal absorption capacity. These shavings are offered in 20kg sacks and are easily transportable.
- Wood shavings sourced from wood such as Douglas and spruce. These are great at absorbing moisture, extremely well suited to use as bedding. These also come in 20kg sacks.
